Job Summary:
The Musculoskeletal Sonographer plays a crucial role in our Sports Medicine department, providing accurate and high-quality diagnostic sonographic examinations for patients with musculoskeletal injuries or disorders. The successful candidate will work closely with the Sports Medicine team to assist in the diagnosis, treatment planning, and monitoring of athletes and individuals participating in sports-related activities.

Responsibilities:
1. Perform diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound examinations using specialized equipment and techniques.
2. Conduct thorough and accurate patient assessment prior to each procedure, ensuring patient safety and appropriate examination protocols.
3. Obtain and evaluate patient medical history relevant to the ultrasound examination.
4. Provide clear and concise explanations of procedures to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
5. Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology to interpret sonographic findings and generate accurate reports.
6. Collaborate with the Sports Medicine team to assess and diagnose musculoskeletal injuries or disorders.
7. Monitor and record patient data during examinations and maintain accurate patient records.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans based on sonographic findings.

Qualifications:
1. Associate's degree or equivalent in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.

3. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Musculoskeletal Sonographer in a healthcare or sports medicine setting.
4. Proficient in operating and maintaining ultrasound equipment.
